  3. KarGrecia Robinson says:

Hey my name is KarGrecia Robinson and I want to know how can I apply for grants or scholarships, and go to the school of my choice?

  4. admin says:

    KarGrecia,

we write about popular scholarships for the disabled. If you want to apply to any of them go to their website (we usually provide a link in the article) and apply directly with them. Also if you can’t obtain a scholarship you can apply for a student loan without a cosigner needed.

  5. Melissa molina says:

Hello, I have a son who is entering his freshman year of high school. He was born with a right club foot. Are there scholarships out there for kids with club feet?

  6. admin says:

    Melissa,

you would want to search for organizations which provide support for people who have your son’s disability. Many times they have educational awards he could apply to. He can also apply to general disability scholarships – meaning that he can apply to a scholarship which requires any type of disability to apply to it. Read more too at: high school scholarships.

  7. Sabina says:

You can find more information about our scholarship here, http://injurylawyer-news.com/scholarship/.

Our goal is to make this scholarship opportunity available to as many students as possible.

Please let us know if this scholarship fits your criteria and is approved to be listed on your website as a scholarship resource.

    Thank you.

  11. admin says:

    Cora,

you would want to search for organizations which provide support for people who have your son’s disability. There are Foundations or Memorial entities set up for this reason. Use the search term “clubfoot support” or “clubfeet support”.
Many times they have educational awards he could apply to. He can also apply to general disability scholarships – meaning that he can apply to a scholarship which requires any type of disability to apply to it. Read more too at: high school scholarships.

  12. Sabina says:

    Hi Cora,

  16. Katie Huff says:

I am married with 3 kids (ages 13, 9, 7). The oldest child has very severe special needs. I have been a stay home mom for years but I am finally returning to school to become a massage therapist because we need the income and it can be a flexible schedule so I can care for her medical needs. The school does not accept any federal funding so I can’t use any of the “moms going back to school” grants. Are there any private scholarships that help parent of a disabled child go back to school? If so, how would I locate them? Most of the websites I have found are for the person (parent or child) with special needs.
    Thanks for your help!

  17. admin says:

    Katie,

search for organizations that provide support for disabilities which your daughter has. Many times they have educational awards that you can apply to. Look into your state educational disability programs for special needs programs. Every state is different on this. Read more at mom scholarships too. 19. admin says:

    Denise,

you must go to the scholarship sponsors webpage to apply to any scholarship we high-lite on our website. Many times there is a link in the article which you can click on and it will take you there. If there is no link then that means the sponsor has changed their link and then you must search for it in your browser – Chrome, MSN Explorer Firefox etc….

  20. My company, Rehabmart.com, has established a $25,000 scholarship fund for students with disabilities, and for students pursuing a college degree in a health sciences/healthcare-related field, along with students pursuing special education degrees.

Rehabmart is owned and operated by Occupational and Physical Therapists who also happen to be parents of disabled children. We have designed our Scholarship to promote awareness to the cause of making higher education accessible for students living with disabilities. This is a way for us to give back, while we also show our gratitude for the healthcare, health sciences and special education professions.

I was wondering if you would share our scholarship along with the other disability scholarships you list here at http://www.disabilityscholarships.us.

Thanks for all you are doing to help students find the resources they need to attend college. I very much appreciate your time and consideration in adding our scholarship information to your excellent resources.
