This means that what a person could normally see at 200 feet, these individuals can see at no more than 20 feet.

Additionally, to be eligible, students who are applying for this christian blind disability scholarship must intend to enroll in a college or university on a full-time basis. They must also be undergraduates who are seeking necessary training or education to help them live independent lives and support themselves.

Student applicants are required to attach a financial budget to this visually impaired scholarship application, as well as a photo of themselves. They are also required to submit forms offering character references from three different persons.

While the organization desires to provide as many unique scholarships for students with disabilities as possible, their ability to help is dependent upon the moneys they receive. Each student received $500 in scholarships funds, half to be used for each semester of the school year.
